This document has been developed with the help and suggestions of both healthcare professionals and people living with MS.
People with MS often have common 'signposts' along their journeys; however, everyone's experiences and priorities are different - what might seem a small change to one person, could have a huge impact on another. With this in mind, it can be important to not only think about changes to your MS in terms of medical results, but also in terms of quality of life.
Although it can be hard to think about, planning for the future could you keep doing the things you love for longer. Having an open, positive conversation with your healthcare team could be the first step towards developing your own personal strategies to maintain good quality of life longer-term.
We hope this resource will give you the confidence to discuss changes to your MS with your healthcare team, and look to the future positively.
This is not intended to replace the advice you get from a healthcare provider. Instead, it is intended to provide additional support to help make conversations with your healthcare provider easier and more productive.
